3 Amazing Styles for Natural Curls

The wrap around braid: This look is not only oh so romantic, but also great for third or fourth day curls. I only wash my hair once a week, so I am always looking for easy styles! To achieve this look, section your curls into fourths, with one section on the top and the other three on the back. Create loose braids with all of the sections, pulling them back and wrapping them around one another to create a bun. Pin into place, and rock your new look!

easy updo

Classic updo: For those days when a ponytail just won’t do, consider this chic and effortless updo. This style works wonders on our curlies with a more kinky texture. To start, divide curls into four sections, securing with clips. Begin with the section at the base of your neck by holding it out straight from your head. Fold it under and bobby pin it into place. Repeat this step with the next section, but fold it the opposite way to create lift. Select a side section and then divide that one into two more sections. Fold the bottom part of that section over the top one, and fold both across the head. Pin securely  into place.  Pick up the last section and bring it over the top and the back of your head, making sure to tuck in the ends and pin as you go. Spray with hairspray to secure. Bunhawk: Easy, adorable and edgy! If you need a sophisticated look that’s easy to style but still has a bit of an edge, check this one out. To get this look, pin the front section of your curls back and hold in place with pins. You can create a bit of a bump for volume if you’d like. Take a section from each side of your head and pull back into a twist, creating a small bun and pinning into place. Continue the previous step until you’ve created small buns down to the nape of your neck! For longer hair, you can take slightly bigger sections. You can spray curls with a firm hold hairspray to control frizz or rough the buns up a little for a more slightly undone look.
