Sometimes, styling our curls just isn’t in the cards. When a lazy day strikes, it’s good to have some go-to styles in your back pocket. If you haven’t yet, you might want to consider snapping up some fabulous headbands to make your life easier. These are headbands for when you need a day off. Use these cute and stylish looks to grab a few extra minutes of sleep, or to pull your curls back for an afternoon lounging on the couch.
Headbands For When You Need A Day Off
Floral:
Do you have a million silk scarves lying around? If so, it’s time to put those babies to good use! A silk scarf can also double as a super chic headband, and is a great choice for summer festivals or a day by the pool. Double the scarf up, and tie a chic knot in the front of your head. You can also create a little bow, leave the ends dangling, or tuck them in for a look that’s all your own.
Twist:

When you’re having a day when you just can’t even, a soft hairband might be just the ticket. Flip your curls over, and fluff them up to create volume. Tie them up on the top of your head, and create a loose bun. Add in your favorite loose headband. We love these with the twists. Fluff any remaining curls, and enjoy your comfy, cozy look!
Turban:

Listen, we’ve all stretched our wash days a little further than we should, or forgotten to add dry shampoo to our shopping list. If you’re in that boat, or just don’t feel like refreshing your curls, a turban headband is the way to go. One of the best things about this look is that it looks flattering on just about everyone, no matter what your curl length. Additionally, you can use just about any bandanna or scarf you have lying around. Fluff up your bottom curls, create braids, or twists, and then tie the bandanna over the top of your head. Secure it in the back, and add some fabulous earrings and sunnies.
Alice:
Sometimes, you need to take your look to the next level, but still don’t want to put TOO much effort in. When this happens, reach for a classic Alice band. There are tons of variety out there in these classic hair bands, from patterns, to plain, as well as funkier pieces. For an easy look, refresh curls with dry shampoo and curl refreshing spray, and shake out your roots to create some volume. Slide the band into your hair, and use it to gently push the hair back away from your face. If your curls are particularly heavy, you can add some bobby pins in the back to hold your curls back.
