We don’t know about you, but battling frizz is a constant in our daily curl care regime. We’re always in the market for a great smoothing balm. When Wella came out with their EIMI Flowing Form Anti-Frizz Smoothing Balm we were interested in seeing if it lived up to the hype.
The product’s description tells us that this Smoothing Balm will “create luxurious smoothness with flexible control and natural movement with our smoothing balm.” It has been “formulated to reduce frizz and help protect hair against dehydration while using hot tools.” The product comes in an easy-to-use pump bottle, making it ideal for getting just the right amount of product. For longer hair, a pump or two will probably be sufficient.

The balm itself is a little bit sticky in consistency, but glides smoothly through hair by using the prayer method (apply to your palms and apply the length of your hair.) Apply to damp hair and use your finger tips to massage it through your curls to ensure even coverage. If you need to diffuse your curls, this product is ideal for creating shiny, low-frizz curls and works well with heat tools.
After use, hair that was previously dry or damaged will appear to be smoother, healthier and more manageable. It helps reduce rougher textures, making curls easier to style. If you struggle with tangled curls, this balm will also help you work through your curls with less knots and damage. The balm’s lightweight formula ensures that it won’t weigh curls down, or create limpness. The product still looks great in hair the next day, and works through your next wash with minimal applications. To check out more about this product, click here .
