Super easy DIY leave-in conditioners
Spray leave-in:
Every curly girl needs a good leave-in! Grab yourself a spray bottle, and get prepared to start mixing. Mix 1 cup of water with 1/4 cup of your favorite conditioner. Then, add in 1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil. Make sure your conditioner doesn’t contain silicones, sulfates, or parabans. Mix together, and spray throughout your curls after washing and before styling. You can also use this as a refreshing spray as needed.
Cream leave-in:
Take 1/4 cup of raw shea butter, and melt into a liquid form. Remove from heat, and mix in 2 tablespoons of coconut oil. Allow to cool until it’s become partially formed again, and then use a mixer to blend until the mixture becomes creamy and has a whipped consistency. You can then add a few drops of jojoba oil, or other oil you prefer. Add in 1/4 cup of aloe vera gel, and mix again. Store in an airtight jar, and remix as necessary.
Hydrating leave-in:
Take a spray bottle, and mix in 1 cup of aloe vera juice, 1 cup of coconut water, and 1 teaspoon of olive oil, or jojoba oil. You can use whichever oil works best for your curls. This treatment works really well for those following the LOC method. Shake the bottle whenever you need to reblend the products.
