How To Use Coffee For Softer, Shinier Curls
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon organic coffee, instant or brewed strong
1 tablespoon unscented liquid castile soap
2 teaspoons raw, organic honey
5-10 drops essential oil of your choice
What to do:
Add the coffee, castile soap and honey into a small bowl. Mix until all the ingredients are completely blended and smooth. Add in the essential oils and blend again until all the ingredients are well incorporated. Using a small funnel, pour all of the ingredients into a small squeeze bottle. A pump bottle would also work well.
How to use:
Congratulations! You’ve just made your very own coffee shampoo. Not only does it have a great scent, there are tons of fabulous benefits to using coffee in your hair. The caffeine will help invigorate your scalp, encouraging blood flow. This means that curls will be able to grow in longer, healthier, and stronger. It will also help discourage product build up from occurring on your scalp.
Use this shampoo like you would any shampoo. Completely saturate hair and pour a small amount of shampoo into your hands. Emulsify by rubbing your hands together and apply throughout your hair. Focus on scrubbing throughout your hair, massaging in with your finger tips. Massage carefully and slowly without tangling curls. Once your scalp is cleansed, rinse away with cool water.
