Curl care tools you need
Spray bottle:
Grab yourself a good quality spray bottle. There are a ton out there, and glass is your best bet for longevity, and is the most eco friendly. This bottle will be used for regularly spritzing your curls, or you can mix up your own leave in conditioner, or curl refreshing spray.
Widetoothed comb:
Every curly girl needs a wide toothed comb. Keep it in your shower to use after you conditioner your curls, which will create the slip you need to help remove knots and tangles from your strands.
Scrunchies:
Before going to bed you’re probably going to want to to pineapple your curls. Therefore, you’re going to need to grab yourself some soft, silk or satin covered scrunchies. These will allow you to gently tie up your curls, without creating a crease or pulling your curls.
Shower cap:
A shower cap will have a lot of uses for you. It can help protect your clothing while doing a prepoo treatment, or lock moisture in during deep conditioning. Some curly girls also opt for a steam cap, which can help soften your cuticles to make it easier for moisture to enter into your curls.
Microfiber towels:
If you don’t have one yet, it might be worthwhile to consider investing in a microfiber towel. These towels work really nicely for curls, because they don’t tear or tug like a regular terry cloth towel will do. Additionally, they’re also super absorbent, which makes them great for curls.
