The Curl Defining Cream You Can Make At Home
Ingredients:
It all starts with great ingredients. When making your own curl defining cream, make sure to select organic, natural products when you can. Avoid anything that already contains additives or chemicals. For this recipe you’ll need:
8 oz of shea butter
4 tablespoons of aloe vera gel
2 tablespoons of castor oil
2 tablespoons of coconut oil
1 tablespoon of jojoba or almond oil
What to do:
Soften the shea butter and coconut oil, but don’t melt. Add all the ingredients into a bowl. Using a hand mixer, whip the ingredients until light and fluffy. This might be an opportunity to add or remove ingredients based upon what your curls need. You can also consider adding in essential oils for fragrance and increased benefits to your curls. Once the mixture is whipped up, transfer to a jar that can be sealed.
How to use:
Store this product in a cool, dry place. It might need to be whipped up again prior to use. Wash and condition curls, and gently remove excess water. After applying leave in conditioner, smooth the product through your curls, moving upwards and encouraging the curls to clump.
