Delicious Curl Care Masks To Make
Avocado honey:
Ingredients
1/2 ripe avocado
3 tablespoons coconut oil
2 tablespoons raw honey
1/4 cup mayonnaise
Mix all of the ingredients together until smooth. Apply to damp strands, massage into the scalp, and pull through. Allow to sit for 15-20 minutes before washing out with cool water.
Honey and banana:
Ingredients:
1 fresh banana
2 tablespoons virgin olive oil
4 drops lavender oil
2 tablespoons raw honey
This mask is great for dry or distressed curls in need of some hydration. Mix all the ingredients together until completely smooth and apply throughout your strands. This might work best if you section your curls beforehand and dampen them. This mask should sit for at least 15 minutes to be the most effective and can be used once a week.
Honey and egg:
Ingredients:
1 large egg
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons olive oil
Mix all of the ingredients together. This mask will work wonderfully for dry, damaged curls. Section curls out and apply from roots to tips. Cover and apply light heat, allowing the product to sit for at least 30 minutes before shampooing out.
Baking soda:
Sometimes curls can get a little excessive build up of product, dandruff, and even deposits from your water. Removing this build up can help the scalp breathe, which will in turn promote healthier curls.
Ingredients:
4 tablespoons baking soda
2 tablespoons distilled water
5-10 drops essential oils
1 cup apple cider vinegar
Mix all the ingredients together, leaving out the ACPV, and shampoo curls with a gentle shampoo. Take the mixture and massage it into your scalp. Use your finger tips to gently break up the build up, rinsing it away. Follow with apple cider vinegar, and rinse with cool water to rebalance your scalp’s pH levels and close the cuticle back down.
